The KARL LAGERFELD Sporty Garden collection for Spring-Summer 2021 takes inspiration from the horticultural world. Select pieces carry a variation on understated floral prints, showcasing Karl’s favorite flower, the orchid. Featuring modern silhouettes and crisp, airy designs that are ideal for warm-weather months, it combines sophisticated looks with casual separates, cool accessories and bright beachwear. The collection will be available at KARL LAGERFELD Outlet stores from April 8, 2021.

Key highlights include an airy, V-neck midi dress, a flutter-sleeve blouse and a pair of wide-leg pants, all made with the same, summery pattern: a white orchid print with a contrasting, light-blue background that evokes the sky. Meanwhile, bouclé fabric elevates a powdery pink jacket-and-skirt combination, as well as two additional blazer styles, available in soft blue and stunning white. These offer elegant options for more formal occasions, while the low-key denim look, with a subtle orchid motif on a jean jacket and shorts, is ideal for casual outings.

For smart, day-to-day dressing, there are printed blouses, a striped flounce dress, logo-embellished sweaters, as well as a comfortably stylish wrap dress and matching skirt. These are counterbalanced with the summery feel of a poplin dress — with pockets! — and an embroidered blouse, both made in the same eye-catching style using lightweight, organic cotton. The long and short anoraks are perfect for summer thunderstorms, while the swimwear selection includes bikinis and one-pieces, available in a chic orchid print or classic KARL logo styles.

Accessories from the collection are flecked with vibrant color pops in combination with the brand’s signature black-and-white palette. The modern and eye-catching offering includes beach-ready bucket hats, slick baseball caps, a canvas tote, and the K/STYLE shoulder and crossbody bag. The latter, available in all black or tonal, bi-color options, has both a chain and a leather handle for styling versatility. Most notably, the caps and buckets hats are made with a sustainable focus, using organic and recycled materials.
